Ragtime Returns to Transpac after 16-Year Absence, the Longest Racing Tenure in Transpac History

Long Beach, CA, June 16, 2025 — The legendary racing yacht Ragtime will compete in the 2025 Transpacific Yacht Race starting on July 5, 2025, marking her 16th participation in the Los Angeles-to-Honolulu race. This achievement makes her second only to Grand Illusion, a respected competitor, for the most Transpac appearances by any vessel in the event's 119-year history. Ragtime's 62-year racing career from 1963 to 2025 represents the longest active racing tenure in Transpac history.
